Tunes From the Tombs

A little while ago we were approached by Pete Knapp to find out if we'd like a stage at "Tunes From The Tombs", an amazing music festival that is held in the Historic Oakland Cemetery.
Of course we leaped at the chance; cool music, beautiful surroundings and a chance to get the word out that we make great coffee? We'll take it!

Our view for a days work

A nice crowd of nice folks.

"Morella and the wheels of If" provided a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack to the afternoon

Beautiful. Oakland Cemetery really is a wonderful gem in the heart of our city.

We were so proud to be in amongst all of those great Atlanta sponsors!
To all of you who joined us, thank you so much and we hope you had as much fun as we did.
We were so thrilled to be a part of this wonderful weekend.

Tara-Saurus Rex

What does one do with a gal turning 28 who loves her some dino decor?

Dinosaur cakes of course!!!

Pineapple  upside down cupcakes adorned with different dinos.

A giant carrot cake cupcake with brontosaurus accents, brontosaurus sprinkles, and a grassy area where T-Rex and his buddies can hang out.

Krystle may be a genius, for real!

Happy Birthday Tara. Raaaawwwwwrrrrr!

ART ATTACK!!!

Yesterday was gloomy and rainy outside, but full of color and fun inside the coffee shop as Beth and Susie brought "ART ATTACK" to Hodgepodge.

They started off with story time, and then launched into a craft hour where the little ones made butterflies from clothes pegs and embellished coffee filters.

There were smiles all round as they paraded their butterflies through the gallery.

Moms were caffeinated, kids were happy and that makes us happy too!
